Prieska is a historic agricultural and mining town in the Siyathemba Local Municipality, within the Pixley ka Seme District Municipality of the Northern Cape. It lies on the southern bank of the Orange River at the foot of the Doringberg, where routes connect it with Marydale, Niekerkshoop, Douglas, Groblershoop and Upington.
